Warnings & Precautions
Charging
- Dedicated Charger Required: Use ONLY a computerized LiPo Balance Charger. Set to: LiPo, 4S (14.8V).
- Recommended Charge Rate: 1C (3.0A) is recommended for maximum battery life. Do not exceed 5C (15.0A).
- Mandatory Active Supervision: NEVER leave charging batteries unattended. Charge inside a LiPo Safety Sack or fireproof steel box on a non-flammable surface.
- Balance Charge Every Time: ALWAYS connect both the main XT60 and the 4S JST-XH balance plug to ensure safe, even charging across all cells.
- Stop Immediately if Abnormal: Disconnect at once if you observe: puffing, heat >50°C (122°F), strange odor, leaking, or any physical damage.
Discharging
- Strict Voltage Limits: NEVER discharge below 12.0V (3.0V per cell). NEVER charge above 16.8V (4.2V per cell).
- Temperature Monitoring: Operate within -10°C to 60°C. Optimal range is 20°C-45°C. Let the pack cool to near room temperature before recharging.
- Pre-Use Inspection: Visually check for swelling, punctures, or wire damage before each use. RETIRE the battery immediately if damaged.
- Prevent Short Circuits: ALWAYS keep the XT60 connector insulated with a cap when not in use. Exercise extreme caution to avoid terminals touching metal.
- Environmental Care: Protect from water, rain, and direct sunlight. Do not leave in a hot car.
Storage

Storage Charge: For storage >2 days, set to Storage Voltage (3.80V-3.85V per cell / 15.2V-15.4V total) using your charger's storage mode.

Safe Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (10°C-25°C) inside a fireproof container. Avoid locations with large temperature swings.

Transportation: For air travel, terminals must be protected. As a ~44Wh battery, it is well under the 100Wh carry-on limit (verify airline policies for quantity).
