Warnings & Precautions
- Use a dedicated charger. You must use a charger specifically designed for Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) chemistry with the correct voltage (4.2V) and current limits.
- Never charge above the maximum voltage of 4.2V.
- Never charge at currents higher than the specified maximum (1C or 10A).
- Never charge a battery that is below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F).
- Do not over-discharge. Never discharge the battery below the cut-off voltage of 3.0V.
- Do not exceed the maximum continuous discharge current (10A). Exceeding this limit will cause overheating and can damage the battery.
- Avoid short-circuiting the battery. A short circuit can cause extremely high currents, leading to overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, shred, or otherwise damage the battery. The pouch can be easily punctured, leading to a severe internal short circuit and thermal runaway.
- Do not expose to extreme heat or fire. Store away from heaters and direct sunlight.
- For long-term storage (longer than one month), store the battery at a 30-50% State of Charge (approx. 3.7V - 3.8V per cell) in a cool, dry place.
