Product Description
18500 3.7V Battery 1900mAh, Li-ion Rechargeable for High Power Flashlight
Features
- Compact High-Capacity Design: The 18500 form factor provides a balanced combination of substantial capacity (1900mAh) and a more compact length compared to the common 18650, ideal for space-constrained devices.
-
High Energy Density: Offers excellent energy-to-volume ratio, enabling longer runtimes for portable applications.
-
Stable Voltage Output: Provides a relatively flat discharge curve for consistent device performance.

Applications
- High-Performance Flashlights & Portable Lighting: Many high-end LED flashlights and work lights are designed for 18500 cells.
-
Portable Electronics: Certain handheld scanners, measurement tools, and older digital cameras.
-
DIY & Hobbyist Projects: Robotics, custom portable power banks, and other electronic projects.
Warnings & Precautions
Charging
- Use a Dedicated Li-ion Charger: ALWAYS use a Li-ion specific charger designed for 4.2V cells and the CC/CV method. Using an incompatible charger (e.g., for Ni-MH) is extremely dangerous.
-
Terminate Charging Correctly: The charger must accurately terminate at 4.20V. Do not leave batteries charging unattended for extended periods or overnight.
-
Charge in a Safe Area: Charge on a non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials and direct sunlight.
Discharging
-
Prevent Over-Discharge: Never discharge the cell below the 2.75V cut-off voltage. Deep discharge causes irreversible damage and is a safety hazard. Devices should have proper low-voltage protection.
-
Avoid Extreme Loads: Do not exceed the specified maximum continuous discharge current. Continuous over-current operation leads to overheating and reduced lifespan.
-
Temperature Management: If the battery becomes excessively hot (e.g., >60°C) during use, stop the operation immediately and allow it to cool.
Storage & Handling
-
Correct Storage State: For long-term storage (>1 month), charge the battery to 30%-50% capacity and store in a cool, dry place.
-
Prevent Short Circuits: This is critical. Always transport or store individual cells in protective plastic cases. Never carry loose batteries where terminals can contact metal objects (keys, coins, other batteries).
-
Inspect Before Use: Do not use if the wrapper is torn, the cell is swollen, dented, leaking, or shows any signs of damage.
