Product Description
High Voltage Nimh Battery Packs 12V SC3300mAh Nimh Battery Packs plastic housing for sweeper
Features
- High Energy Density: Offers a capacity of 3300mAh, providing substantial runtime for powered devices like sweepers.
-
High Discharge Capability: Supports high continuous discharge currents (up to 10C or 33A), making it suitable for demanding applications like motor-driven sweepers.
-
Plastic Housing (PVC): The PVC outer shell provides insulation, protection against minor impacts, and helps contain potential leakage, enhancing safety and durability.
-
Long Cycle Life: Can withstand over 500 charge-discharge cycles while maintaining more than 80% of its initial capacity, ensuring good longevity and value.
-
Wide Operating Temperature Range: Can operate effectively in a range of environments, from -10°C to +60°C during discharge.
-
Environmentally Friendly: NiMH chemistry contains no toxic heavy metals like cadmium or lead, making it a more environmentally conscious choice compared to NiCd batteries.

Warnings & Precautions
Charging
- Use a NiMH-Specific Charger: Always use a charger designed for NiMH chemistry and configured for this battery's voltage (15V) and current limits.
-
Avoid Overcharging: Do not exceed the recommended charge times. While NiMH batteries are somewhat tolerant, excessive overcharging can damage them.
-
Temperature Monitoring: Charge only within the specified temperature range (0°C to +45°C). Charging outside this range can lead to reduced capacity and potential damage.
-
Charge in a Well-Ventilated Area: Provide adequate space around the charger and battery during charging.
Discharging
- Avoid Deep Discharge: Stop using the battery before reaching the cut-off voltage (10.0V for the pack). Over-discharging can cause irreversible internal damage and shorten its lifespan.
-
Temperature Management: Avoid discharging outside the recommended temperature range (-10°C to +60°C). Extreme cold reduces performance and capacity; extreme heat accelerates aging.
-
Prevent Short Circuits: Never allow the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to connect directly. Short circuits can cause very high currents, leading to extreme overheating, terminal damage, leakage, or fire.
Storage
- Partial Charge Storage: For long-term storage (longer than a few months), it is recommended to store the battery at a partial state of charge (around 40-60%).
-
Cool and Dry Environment: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat sources. The ideal long-term (1 year) storage temperature is between -20°C to +25°C.
-
Regular Checks: If stored for extended periods, check the voltage periodically (every 2-3 months) and recharge if it drops significantly to prevent over-discharge.
