Charging

Discharging

  • Do Not Over-Discharge: Never discharge the pack below 10.0V under load. Deep discharge, especially allowing individual cells to reverse polarity, causes permanent damage.
  • Current Limits: For continuous operation, do not exceed the 10A (1C) rating. The 30A (3C) pulse rating is for short durations (seconds) only.
  • Temperature Monitoring: If the pack becomes excessively hot during discharge, reduce the load or allow it to cool.

 

Storage

  • State of Charge: For long-term storage (>1 month), condition the pack to a 40-60% state of charge (approximately 12.0V - 12.4V after resting).
  • Storage Environment: Store in a cool, dry place within the recommended temperature range. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
  • Maintenance: Recharge stored batteries every 6-12 months to compensate for self-discharge and maintain health.
