Warnings & Precautions

Charging

 

  • Use the Correct Charger: ALWAYS use a Li-ion specific charger designed for batteries and the CC/CV method.

Discharging

  • Avoid Extreme Loads: Do not exceed the specified maximum continuous discharge current (7.5A). Excessive current can lead to overheating.
  • Temperature Management: Allow the battery to cool to ambient temperature after heavy use before recharging. Do not operate or charge a battery that is hot to the touch.

 

Storage

  • Storage State: For long-term storage (>1 month), partially charge the battery to approximately 40-60% capacity (about 3.8V per cell). Store in a cool, dry place within the recommended temperature range.
  • Inspect before each use. Do not use if you notice swelling, deformation, leakage, strange odors, or damage to the casing.
  • Never puncture, crush, disassemble, or immerse the battery in water.
  • Prevent short circuits by never allowing the metal terminals to contact conductive materials like keys or tools.
